Kamyuen has built a dedicated research team of around 20 talented specialists* who are engaged in the advanced areas of materials and product development, simulation and modelling, and process automation. Their resources include an R&D centre that is exceptionally well-equipped to develop both technology and knowledge competences, aiming to achieve better understanding of materials, product designs, automation technologies in intricate precision engineering.

* The team is led by Dr. Chung-Nin Ko, our Group Chief Technology Officer, who is a seasoned European chartered engineer who holds a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, with 15 years’ experience of Precision Engineering in SKF Engineering and Research Centre in the Netherlands, and with over 15 years’ factory operating experience in China. He also took up the role of adjunct associate professor of the MAE Department of HKUST from 2016-2018, and had published some 30 patents and publications in his career.
